Finally got my VIN today! Expected build date is the week of February 18.

What is everyone's experience with the expected build date? Has it been close to what they predict?

When I run my VIN through researchmechanics.com it still doesn't register, is that the only place to run it. When I run it on the ford's website through their VIN information I get the basic information but nothing to indicate the build date. To early yet?

Called the SVT line and found out my Raptor is scheduled to be built this Thursday February 21. My window sticker also showed up on the research mechanics website sometime this past week, which is great news. My dealer said they have a delivery date of March 11 in their computer, of course we all know that is a soft date. Original order date was Jan. 16, staying pretty close to the projected 8 weeks the dealer was hoping when we ordered it.

brons130- That is consistent with others who have placed orders, cross your fingers.

My truck was built yesterday as schedule and has been released to shipping. The guy who I spoke to on the other end of the SVT 800 number was great. He said to call once a week to check on the shipping status, 3-4 weeks to delivery is what he said is average. Of course I'm hoping for 1-2 weeks.... He said that their tracking isn't as accurate as a UPS package so that is why to only check in each week because once it gets on a rail car the tracking isn't updated until it switches routes.

marbee- Do you have VIN? once you have the VIN you can call the SVT line and find out when it is scheduled to be built.

Well my Raptor is on it's 8th day of sitting at the Dearborn plant waiting for its train. AHHHHH!!!!

Spoke to SVT today and they confirmed that my truck was built on Friday March 1 and it had made it to the shipping company on Friday March 1.

That drives me CRAZY! Same day ship, hope mine finally leaves the yard over there in Dearborn soon.
