I'm currently a civilian working in Afghanistan my home is Barstow, CA. I'm in the process of ordering my metallic Blue Raptor with all the bells and whistles before taxes and registration $47,878.50:wow:. Man and I still get to look forward to CA bending me over and giving it to me good. I'm curious as to what everyone is paying for theirs?
I'm purchasing it through the Exchange New Car Sales (ENCS) provided for the military. Unfortunately it won't be delivered until July of 2011:sad:. I had high hopes of having a new Raptor when I return in Sept.
Anyone have the specs on the 2011 or have heard anything? I had to use 2010 specs for my quote.

I got mine with the lux package and 7 yr 75k warrantee for 36k. Of course it's not the 6.2 but I really wasn't into having that option. I ordered the Blue Flame Metalic. I am in Germany with the Army and ordered mine through ENCS as well. I can't believe the cost or the wait for yours. Last I heard from my dealer over here was that ENCS wasn't taking any more orders for the Raptor until further notice.

I heard the same thing.

I'm in K-Town Germany and I was told by my ENCS rep that Ford isn't taking any more orders on the 2010 models. They didn't know when the 2011 specs would be out, but they were certain of two things... 1. The 2011 would be more expensive and 2. They would not be able to get a big rebate like on the 2010.

I got a 4k rebate on mine. It's still not here yet and they ordered it with the wrong interior, so I don't even know if I'm going to take delivery or not. They did tell me that if I take it, they would give me an additional $1,800 off for the mistake on the interior. I also have about $1,000 worth of aftermarket parts sitting in my storage waiting so I'm not sure what to do here.

Sorry for going off on a tangent. Good luck with your order!

What's with the interior? I am assuming you ordered the orange inserts? I would take delivery and the 1800 no question...:D

Welcome aboard!

The Raptor is an expensive truck, but one thing for sure is that buying through ENCS will still most likely be the cheapest way to go on this vehicle. 2011 may be different, but for 2010 Ford sold more of these than they were really expecting. With all the dealer's games and availability issues, I'm still confident that ENCS was my best route.

I bought my 6.2 through ENCS while I was deployed to Iraq in January. I only opted for the luxury package and the back-up camera system. I declined the Owner's Protection Plan and received a $4500. military rebate. The grand total came to be $37,386.50
Once I took delivery, the State of Michigan made me pay 6% taxes on that rebate though.

Just the opposite. I ordered black and they build orange. I finally found a pic on here that show's me how it will look and after seeing that, I probably will take it... not before I try to squeeze another grand out of 'em though. :knee7rm:
