How many of you have the 5.4 or the 6.2? I know that the 5.4 was only in the early 2010s but that's what I have and I was wondering how many other people have the same engine.

Had the 5.4 in my 09 platinum....Other then the cam phaser issue at about 90k it was great....Had 154k when i traded for Raptor...

Yeah true, there isn't really any benefits for having the 5.4. My truck gets 13.5 MPH and my dad's 6.2 gets 12.5 so that really isn't any better.

Ive had both a 2010 5.4l and a 2014 6.2l and they were both great. I will say the 5.4l is kind of a dog until you put a power programmer on it and then it really wakes up and goes pretty good. The 6.2l is more powerful and doesn't downshift nearly as often but I did loose about 1mpg going to the 6.2l over the 5.4l. Like I say I did like both of them and they weren't as different as people make them out to be.
