THE K3 ARE RUN BETWEEN 120 :str: 160 PSI, THE TRAIN WHISTLE IS AT 60 PSI FOR NOW, THIS IS WHY I WENT WITH A 200PSI CONTINUES DUTY COMPRESSOR, THE ENCLOSURE IS STOCK MADE BY HOFFMAN ELEC.

I CAN GET A FULL 10 SECOND BURST ON THE HORNS AT 110PSI, THIS WILL SEEM LIKE FOREVER IF YOU ARE IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK.:SHOCKED:

I can not PM yet so.......

Do you have a online source for your Hoffman Fiber Enclosure (having a little difficulty finding the same type box) or your regulators? Did you get your Train whistle from HB? I have already got a hold of my Nathan K3HA and am just trying to assemble the rest of the parts.....

I hope that you take no offense but your install is so perfect that I am going to duplicate it as close as possible.:smiley_thumbs_up:

thank's, most parts are from HB all steel brackets are home made, other parts ordered based on system type, I can e-mail pdf receipts of all sources and prices of parts used, as far as install ill post the rough pics i have this weekend.

Pretty funny here in the DFW area---had an idiot that had air horns driving around scaring people and causing an accident even. Police caught up with him and he is now Paying the price of trying to be funny! LOL:w00t:

:shakehead:Not real smart to post video when you are breaking the law. That is how they caught the folks here in the DFW area who were using the air horn. They even made the news here.

On the other hand someone who has spent the time and money to do something to the vehicle that the sole purpose is to draw attention, the fact that it is not legal is beside the point. Something to think about would be if someone was hurt as a result of the air horn and it was on film or because the person has been posting about doing this and how much fun it was? If you don’t think that places like this are not researched by the Police or opposing Counsel you are mistaken.

Thanks all for the positive feedback, To install the buttons where I did, took some time and effort, I did not plan on taking out the console but when I dropped a screw into some freaking black hole I had to take the whole unit out, some things happen for a reason, as I learned that the only way to put these switches at this location, is out of the truck, I used a new unibit to cut button holes in the finish cover (w/ the black back bone in place just for marking purposes) after that cut/fit/cut/fit/cut/fit until the back of the buttons cleared, solder all connections and if your going to put one then you might as well put all 4, trust me, you only want to do this once.

Horns have been a great source of satisfaction, but I only use them for good not for evil.

I had my son push the button while I stood in front, the sound rattled my teeth, I gotta get some vids up.
