I've been trying to analyze photos of the Raptor's bottom-side to see if there's somewhere to install a 2nd battery or relocate the primary battery. My goal is to move the weight of the battery to under the cargo bed closer to the middle of the wheelbase.
If I add a winch I may want to go with a dual battery setup, and the additional weight of the winch on the front of the Raptor will make a front heavy vehicle even more front heavy. Thus the desire to put the second battery somewhere nearer the middle of the wheelbase to get the front to back weight distribition closer to neutral.
From the photos I've seen, the under belly of the Raptor appears to be mostly occupied with fuel tank, dual exhaust and muffler. Has anybody considered a battery relocation or dual battery modification like this?
