I hardwired my V1 to axillary switch #4. I bought a blend mount here http://www.mgtmotorsports.com/mgt_bv1.html Installation took about 30 minutes. The hardest part was getting you hands in by the fuse box to connect wires to the switch. I used the hardwire that comes with the V1 ran it along the top of the windshield and down the pillar.

I did attach two pics of the install didn't they show up? I have the Great Lakes mount and invisicord installed on my Corvette C6 worked just fine. Tried to get it to work on Raptor, just couldn't find the right combo of wires to get it to work. That's why I used the hardwire that came with the V1.

I think the Great Lakes mount is just for the vette, not sure, but the blend mount worked just fine. I used the one with the hinge but found out it really wasn't necessary. You could probably use the other one. They also make mounts for different brand detectors.

Are you saying you checked all the wires going into the back of the Raptor mirror and you couldn't find a switched hot lead and a ground?
I tried the plugging in the invisicord the same way I did in the vette, that didn't work. I then tried a couple different combo's didn't have much luck. I'm not the most patient person, so gave up kinda quickly and went the other route.

Maybe if you took the extra time there might be the right combo of wires in the mirror, I just didn't take the extra time. Sorry if I gave the impression that it would positively not work.
