I'm mechanically inclined but I'm not very comfortable working on vehicle electrical systems/components. I've done a lot of mods to vehicles I've owned but I've not been comfortable with the electrical-related stuff.
Of course it makes sense that I have a list of electrical-related mods I want to make to my Raptor SVT including:
* Install under bed rail LED lights
* Install a remote 12v accessory outlet in the side of the bed
* Install a hardwired power inverter so I have three-prong electrical plug power
* Install off-road lights
* Hardwire my V1 radar detector (hey, this truck loves to be driven fast on the freeway!) including the Invisicord which means I need to know what all those wires in the mirror are for (check out the back of your mirror)
I'll post more on these and others as time permits.
I sure hope those of you who are electrically inclined will provide detailed information including step-by-step instructions and pictures of your mods and hacks so people like me can learn and follow them.
I need to buy a voltmeter so I have one in my toolbox. What's a good, inexpensive one to buy?
(I need this forum!)
