Ordered November 2009 (6.2L). Watched numerous 5.4's come and go. Found this forum and was able to keep my sanity knowing I was not alone. Got a VIN in April, window sticker 2 weeks later, production date May 13. My truck is now on a train headed this way. I get location updates daily from my dealer. Probably deliver next week.
Here is the kicker.... my dealer got 2 other 6.2L's in last week. Neither one was ordered by anyone, they just came. They were not configured as I ordered (or right color). Dealer called me and had me come by to drive one of them, which I did. One sold already, the other is still available.
Moral of the story... don't order. Trucks are out there. Dig around and you can find them.
