I picked up my 6.2L Raptor yesterday and have just hit 550 miles.
THIS TRUCK IS AMAZING! WELL WORTH THE WAIT.
The only problem I have found after 500 miles in a day is the 100 MPH governor equipped to the 6.2.. I have read the other forum thread and know you are not suppose to go past 100 mph with the BFG tires on the Raptor but I know someone has done it and I want to know what is the best way to take off the governor on the 6.2 and will it effect the truck warranty?
For all those waiting to drive a 6.2, the truck just begins to really open up after 80 mph. It jumps from 80mph to 100mph incredicably fast! When the Raptor reaches 100 mph you can feel it wants to go faster, the RPM gauge reads 2000 RPMs when the governor kicks in.
I feel if you paid for the bigger engine with more horsepower, there should NOT be a governor.
