No offense to JDM or Hennessey as I'm sure those trucks are just straight badass, but I'm sorry I don't have that kind of money to be blowing nor would I really spend that much if I had the money. For that kind of money I would rather just start building a race truck, but any way thats not the point of this thread......
CAI, tuning, exhaust, headers, re-gearing, etc, etc, can only get so you far before you gotta throw more air at it, ie turbo or supercharger, or tear into the motor, ie head work and cam, not really what I'm wanting to do on my everyday RELIABLE driver, although a cammed Raptor would be pretty sweet......
What about something on the cheap, proven power, and can actually be safe if done correctly.... I'm talking about nitrous :4-dontknow:.......I've seen 75 to 125 shots do wonders and be safe. Don't get me wrong a 500HP or 600HP all the time would be pretty kick ass, but would it be worth the coin when you look at the big picture? Nitrous can give you almost the same performance for a fraction of the cost. I'm more than happy with the performance of my Raptor, but more power every now and then....... I don't know fellas just trying to think outside the box.
