I live in Nipomo, about 10 mins from Pismo Beach and yet to take it out there.....still breaking it in. Also we go to Glamis quite a bit.

OP, I live in Lompoc. Got my 2014 Special Ed. in Ruby Red back in December. I'm like you, though. I haven't really made it out to the dunes yet. I know, it's sacrilege.

You'll be amazed at how well the raptor drives in the sand, air down all 4 tires to 15 - 20psi, go offroad mode and shift manually 1st and 2nd gear only, so much fun!!
