Took mine to the dealer today with this "clunk issue". Although mine sounds/feels more like a sound of something slipping/binding in the back. Happens when accelerating (hard, soft, etc) from a dead stop. Doesn't seem to happen when accelerating from a roll. Sometimes when coming to a full stop. I agree about making a lot of noise on this issue. :3-angry1: :3-smash: I'll be progressively escalating this issue with the Dealer, SVT, Ford...

Had the SSM suggested work done (Lubricate the driveshaft slip yoke at the transfer case). As of yesterday there were no TSBS in the OASIS. For now no slip or clunk.

For the love of god, would people please stop calling it a rear end problem. Do most of you know where the slip yoke is?
Point taken! The sound appears to come from the back of the front seat. So for those who know dick about the matter will call it the rear end problem. :Na_Na_Na_Na:To me it doesn't matter where it comes from but rather that it is there and Ford doesn't seem to be able to come up with a solid fix.:i_rolleyes: On my Screw the clunk returned two whole days after the lube.

I cringe every time I take off or come to a stop, but will most likely keep the truck until something equal or better arrives on the market. I'll complain about this each time I go for the service (so far had the lube and shaft replaced).

I hope Ford does right by us "clunkers" and comes up with a fix but then there is a saying "Hope is the mother of fools".

Unfortunately for us in this case SVT created Raptor on the regular F150 platform. If you do some research you'll find the "clunk" has been a common occurrence on Ford trucks for many years and potentially across multiple generations.

I think the solution may come sooner from the after market industry. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Don't believe for a second the dealer is telling you the truth. We've been waiting for a fix for a couple of months. Not a single public acknowledgment of this "clunk" issue from Ford that I'm aware of. Maybe the fix will come (not likely) in the meantime, crank the volume up and enjoy the truck.
P.S. I had the lube and shaft replaced. Both failed to fix the issue. Waiting for the next oil change to see what they will do/say next.
