I have a 2010 FX-4 F-150 and love it. I really can't wait to drive and own my new
Raptor Screw, but i'm buying this truck for a daily driver, it's limitations are towing like a diesel F-250 does. Ford hit a market that plays to the public for the Raptor. But there are other markets not tapped that Ford could be more involved and profit from. The After Market World makes 100s and 100s of Millions of dollars. I own a GMC Sierra, 2500 HD duramax diesel with Allison auto transmission. This is a Great truck for towing, I paid ten thousand dollars to have it lifted 6" so I could run 35 inch tires, changed out the stock gas tank for a 45 gallon tank for longer range trips into the wilderness.. I believe Ford is poised to really widen the gap between Dodge and GM, If they continue an listen to the people. If you (Ford) Build it we will come, and buy it.
We need a F-250 Model that is called the outdoorsman, or something to that effect.
This would be built on the 250 chassis , give us choice of crew cab with short bed or scab with long bed. Power it with a diesel motor that give us 400 hp and 750 ft/lbs of Torque, and a automatic transmission as good as the allison 6 speed. ESPECIALLY, LIFT IT FOR 35 IN TIRES, ENGINEER IT FOR OFF ROADING IN MOUNTAINS, ETC. OR TOWING TRAILERS OR SUCH TO GET TO THE OUTDOORS. WHY? BECAUSE WE ALL WANT IT,AND MOST OF US ALREADY DO IT. WE JUST PAY THE AFTER MARKET WORLD . FORD YOU STEPPED UP AND STEPPED UP BIG WITH THE CREATION OF THE RAPTOR. NOW STEP OUT OF FAITH AND BUILD THE OUTDOORSMAN F-250 SUPER DUTY, LIFTED SERIES. YOU WOULD TAKE THE TRUCK WORLD AND DOMINATE , EVEN MORE. WHILE , EVERYONE ELSE WAS PLAYING CATCH UP YOU COULD BE PERFECTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF MIND BLOWING VEHICLES THAT EVERYONE WANTS , SOMETIMES ITS NOT WHAT WE NEED BUT WHAT WE WANT. I WANT PERFORMANCE, GAS MILEAGE, BETTER, GREAT, BUT I'M NOT DRIVING A PRIUS. NO WAY!
