We all know Moab, UT is practically the 4x4 capital of the world, but I've only ever gone there to rock crawl. I'm sure the Little Sahara sand dunes would be a good place to go, but does anyone know of some other venues that would accommodate high-speed off-roading in Utah?

I think he meant out by promontory point where they drove the Golden Spike....not the trail in Moab.
I was out on some dirt roads just east of St. George last weekend. A lot of open, flat territory where you could really build up some speed. Also, there were a lot of nice sandy washes, and a few sand dunes. The desert down there in Washington County looks perfect for the Raptor!

Most of these trails are for rock crawling, and because of the long wheelbase I wouldn't take a Raptor on anything over a 2.5. Where I really want to take a Raptor is to the desert down south. If you're looking for a cool dirt road in Moab, try out Behind the Rocks road. You could really get some speed there, and there are some nice sand dunes and dry river beds. I'm sure if you looked around you'd find some other nice high speed dirt roads there in Moab.
