Well it looks like we found the limit for this motor. #7 cylinder went bad, we are doing the teardown on the motor right now to see what the problem is. I beleive it is a broken ring. We will be doing a 6.6L Livernois stroker motor in it with forged internals, new cams, modded heads, and stainless works headers and exhaust. This is bound to be a killer engine build and still running 10 psi boost. These motors are good for 1000-1200 hp. Rev limiter will be set at 7000rpm. Goal is atleast 600-650 hp to the ground on a decent daily driver 94 octane tune.

we finally got this beast running properly. just had to go through a few different tunes and also track down a vacuum leak on the lower intake causing it to not idle properly. so as a review we are running a 6.6L livernois stroker engine, with a whipple supercharger, fuel pump booster, complete stainless works headers and exhuast with no cats. boost is around 7 pounds right now. one breaking is complete we will install larger injectors and run up to 10-11 psi. as it is right now this combo is crazy smokes the tires at 70 mph when you step on it.

Got any vids sportsman?? I'm thinking this truck should be running 12's at best in the quarter with that stroker for sure :-/. Be kewl if you could submit some time slips once dialed in. My buddies supercharged 6.2 is running 13.5's, lol after spending $8k........I rather dig into the motor like you guys have done before I just throw a supercharger at it. My whipple 2.3 on my lightning had a 10 rib belt..... Been down the supercharged road and I don't ever see a raptor running lower than 12's-13's which isn't bad for a big rig but. Hard going from a fast street queen spending $2500 on a whipple receiving 150+horsepower Bolt-On on a mustang dyno with upgraded pulley/meth kit/tune to spending this kinda dough for 55-60 horses at best before having to dig further. I became spoiled with power/weight ratio in my Harley truck that I wanted to trade for a Offroad, suspension queened beast! Maybe one day when I see 10-11 second potential, lol. Could you Get some vids up because I'm wondering what this STROKER motor is throwing down at the strip.

Im sure we will never get any vids of this truck on the drag strip. thhe owner is not into that. I think i have him talked into some dyno pulls after the motor is broke in and we upgrade to the larger injectors and higher boost. we are thinking about 700hp to the ground. The motor with no supercharger dynoed 635hp at the flywheel

Hi, hope I am not hijacking this thread, but I wanted to ask a question. I was going to get a whole supercharger on my 6.2L 2013 raptor. I have been researching a little about price and options. I went to a reputable shop in the Houston area and the owner tools me he would not recommend or install a supercharger on the raptor. He said the 6.2L engine can't handle it and it causes the engine to blow before 100, 000 miles. Now I'm not a dragster. I just wanted to drive to work having fun! !! Have you heard anything about this? ? Of course I have no idea how long a supercharged engine typically lasts... In general. I have another shop in the area that aid they would do it. But I wanted to get a little more information first.

We Do Whipple super charger and Pro Charger installs on them all the time with no problems what so ever. We have one at the shop at all times that we took to SEMA this year, I would love to give you a test drive if you want to stop by the shop when ever you have free time. i would agree. i dont think the 6.2L has any problems with handling a supercharger. The only reason this motor went was because the onwer was tryin to push it to the limits and one of the tunes that he installed had a lean issue.
