Hey Everybody,

So for most of us the stock 10" "sub-woofer is really no bueno. I decided to do some research and look for a company that makes custom sub-woofer boxes for all vehicles including the F-150's. I came across Atrendusa, they make a dual 12" enclosure that fits underneath your seat and now with it installed in my Raptor I think I lost maybe an 1 1/2" in the back(leg room). The box itself is seems pretty sturdy and doesn't look to be built by a 9 year old chinese boy. You can't see in the pictures, I installed (2) Rockford Fosgate P3's(shallow mount). The reason for the shallow mounts is that is how the box was designed, it wanted to allow you to put your seats down and still have them functional, anything larger would make your backseats un-useable. The Amp is a Memphis 1200w mono-block. Also had to use an AV converter(av cables and stock Ford speaker wires plug into it). Overall I have to see I am very happy with the install, the Rockford Fostgate's hit pretty hard for being thin 12's and I still have functionality in the back:smileup:. Here are some Pictures I took during the install, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Cheers.

Any more info in regards to how you mounted the amp? Also can you just use whatever wire is going to the sub now for the low level converter ? I'm doing this myself too , pure laziness is the only reason I wouldn't .

i would like to know what was used to mount the amp also

What I did to mount the amp may sound cheesy and cheap, however I didn't want to drill holes. I bought the Clear 3M Dual Lock Tape(rolls not the single 2" strips), reason I bought it is it sticks together better than velcro, and the adhesive they use is stronger. I have tested it with (4) 2" strips and it was able to hold 26lbs, so what is a 3-8lb amp right? So I laid 2 strips of it down the entire length of the amp, and than the same on the back of the cab. Stuck it up there and it will not move. This does a couple things for you, if you ever want to take the amp out after you blow it:Wow1: or want to upgrade it will be extremely easy, no tools to remove the amp, and best of all
NO holes:smileup: . As far as the low level converter wires, I used the wires coming from the head unit to the old Sub. The stock white clip has those bad boys in there, I used a screwdriver, popped them out, cut the ends off, soldered them to an "extension wires", and lastly connected into the low level converter.

I can't remember the color of the wires that I used. I'll take a look at the stock wire tomorrow and see where they came from and let you all know.

Hope this helped. If any needs anything else let me know. Raptor is kinda staying on the sidelines while I finish up the Cobra

thanks for the info!
