I WAS WRONG !

Went out and tried locking rear axle in normal mode ,if i'm at a stop or slow roll the axle will stay locked in normal mode.
What i was doing all the other times was driving above 5 MPH in normal mode and the axle light would flash then unlock.

Stupid is was stupid does !

That’s OK, gave me something else to try when I picked mine up yesterday. Was able to use the locker to pull out of my friend’s icy drive in normal mode but won’t engage when moving faster. Tried it at 35 and got a message to slow below 20 to engage locker. It was definitely worth the almost five month wait :smileup:.

It's done! Ordered our (my) Raptor on Saturday......Blue Flame Supercab, blue accent interior, moonroof, luxury package with front and rear camera, navigation and hood graphics. Sooooo excited. Our local dealer was willing to sell at invoice so why go any further! The owner's Race Red '12 came in our Friday, I must admit I wasn't sure about the color until I seen it, it's quite nice! However, we own a Torch Red Roush Mustang, didn't need another red vehicle in the fleet!

Mid-March is the estimate.....just to harass our salesman, I emailed him yesterday to ask if it had come in yet....his response..."it's going to be a long 2 months"!! LOL! We are fine with the March estimate, in the fact that winter will be on the way out and hopefully the cinders and salt will be washed off the roads til then, plus we have a few pieces of equipment that will be paid off next month.....replaced by a Raptor payment! Can't go through life without payments of some sort!

Shew I read that and at first glance was thinking all that was said by the salesman...lol but yeah I've read on here approx 2 to 3 months after order is put in. My order code or whatever it is called is 14 so well see dec 16 order date= mid march..but i also am fine with wait due to recent layoff from coal mine but surely I'll be back to work by then fingers crossed...

Does anyone know if the box graphics (on the side of the bed) changed for the 2012's. Pictures of Ford web site show a different pattern - appears to be just aft and above the rear wheels?

Tautog, we ordered ours (mine) through Selinsgrove Ford, Selinsgrove.....local dealer, they gave us the best price. We shopped far and wide and they were willing to match any price, but no one else beat their price from the get-go!

Pgrnfarm glad to hear you got a good price, I was just wondering if you were from my area. I guess you are up off of 11-15, I used to deliver to the furniture store in selingsgrove but not in my area, be patient the wait will be worth it.

Finally got word

Well finally got word my new 2012 Raptor is in route from GA to Toronto. I will have it by next Wednesday and when I get pics will send them out. Its been a long wait lets hope its worth it. Cant wait...got my insurance set today and the first run I make with it will be Home Depot to pick up building supplies....
