Hopefully one of the supporting vendors will take notice that there is quite a few of us Raptor owners are interested in having an HID fog/driving light site we can use for on road as well.

Just bought a pair of the fog lights off eBay from a company called Rambotech. They have the clear lenses and the wire mesh to the side of each light. I have always hated the opening in the front bumper and can't wait to install these in my track. I now finally have a use for the auxillary switches in the center console!

My independent Mercedes mechanic is a master fabricator and an amazing electrician. I am going to have him install the fog lights once they arrive. I will post some pics once everything is complete. Thanks again to Stang for the heads up on these!

If you would, please have the installer to provide details on how they mount them and let us know if they are able to make them operational with the low/high dimmer switch. I'm well hearse on mounting lights with the aux switches but I'm on looking for fog lights I can use for on-road use. Be sure to post pictures as well.

Just go to the search bar on eBay and type in "1999 Honda Civic fog lights." a bunch of different listings will come up. Look for the listing by Rambotech. They had a buy it now for under $41! Normally around $129. They have nine sets of lights for sale. I will post some pics once installed but I am going to use one of the auxiliary switches. I leave my headlights on auto mode so at night I will just flip the switch to turn them on.

I will trigger the relay from the low beam lights and supply voltage from Switch 3, this way I can cut them off, I also use my auto headlamps. I may use the parking lights to trigger the coil, some nice flexibility, but I never have the markers on alone

I found a vendor for 39.95, grey bezels, amber lens and free shipping.

I look forward to this project!

Just received my fog light kit today from Rambowtech. They are OEM Honda lights and the quality is very good. I also ordered the BiXenon HID healight kit from Retro Solutions which should arrive tomorrow. Thanks again to BlueSVT for helping me source out the kit. Once everything is installed I will post some pics.

Thank you!

Thanks for the excellent idea on the Civic fog lights Stangpede!!! I have been going back and forth on PIAA vs Rigid Dually and trying to get comfortable with the non-standard look of those things protruding from the bumper openings.

I found the Civic fog enclosures with clear lenses for $40 and an HID upgrade for $50. Once they are in, they are going to look factory spec'd - and for under $100 as compared with $500+ for the other options.

I don't have the need to blind anyone with millions of lumens, so this setup is going to work just fine.

Thanks again - great discovery!

I got mine today as well, I placed the light in the opening, looks good. Its 23 degrees here and its going to snow tomorrow, this will have to wait a few weeks/months. How did you all make a mounting brackets? Did you find it easy or difficult?

My installer looked at it today. Says he needs to fabricate custom brackets.
If you would, please provide pictures of the brackets he makes and how they are installed. I'm definitely interested in doing this mod as well.

How are these holding up?
I have had a couple of different fog lamps in this open bumper area, and they have not done well with the off-road wear...
I think it is because of the proximity to the front wheels.

Any other comments or suggestions out there are welcomed!
