i got the entire truck vinyl wrapped. i took it to this place in long beach and took them 2 days. pm me if u need more info about the shop.

I'm not real familiar with vinyl and how durable it is but wouldn't you worry about rocks or other objects from the road tearin it up?

I'm in Los Angeles as well... I was thinking of having a portion of the hood done, almost like the factory sticker, except extending down the leading edge of the hood to the grill.

Very niiiiice! I had inquired having my hood wrapped in matte black, but was discouraged from it since it is thinner than a clear bra type film.

Buying my wife a 2011 Explorer limited white. She is going from a range rover sport to it(explorer is 2x the car minus the supercharged v8) and is worried about looking like everyone elses. We saw the dub edition which is white with a black hood inlay and the entire top of the truck is black and I was thinking about doing it in vinyl so for trade in we could just remove it and go back to stock. Local shop gives a 5year warranty and charges $10sf. What warranty did they give and how much they charge you? Looks awesome btw.

You get a 5 year warranty for whatever damages the wrap. i have my bmw wrapped for over 2 years without any tears. its a very tough material, excellent quality :smileup:

Thanks bro, im not sure if its thinner than clear bra but its really tough. have it on my bmw for over 2 years with no problems
