Sounds like you got a good install day coming! Tackling the mid perch adjustment is pretty easy. DjChoma has a full write up on it. If you have never used spring compressors before be sure to use Auto Zone's $50 rentals. You won't need the more expensive ones, plus you get your money back when you return them. Have a friend their with you when you do it for the just in case moments. If you are having trouble finding the allen wrench for the set screw Harbor Freight has them.

Hi everyone, I'm offering up my services free of charge to anyone wanting to move up to the mid perch. I have already done mine and Evilmonkey's. There is no catch I would just like to meet more Raptor owners and try to help everyone save some coin. So if you want to make a trip to Olympia, WA just PM me and we can set up a date and time!!!
