Hey, I just purchased and installed a new train horn from hornblasters.com and the experience was amazing. It was at my door on the right date and everything was in the box in perfect condition. It is by far the loudest train horn i have ever heard and i hooked it up to my fourth aux switch. The instillation was a piece of cake the directions are idiot proof. I had to call about how to hook it up to the aux switch and i got right through to an AMERICAN representative and they answered my question right away. I recommend them 100% i am about to by a motorcycle train horn from them and put it on my ATV.

So you risk everything to prove your point to some douche bag by being even a bigger douche bag???And when some little turd in a ricer with fart-can exhaust cuts you off in traffic, the stock horn just doesn't convey the proper message
As far as the making comments on the "mechanical aspects" of the mod, well the loud sound is the whole point of the train horn mod. I see time and time again comments concerning aspects of a mod other than just the mechanical/technical portion of mods posted on this page...
Maybe I'm wrong but to me this page is more than just tech information. To me this page is a place where I go to get advice, ideas and yes tech information. But it's also a community of people who for the most part have a common interest in Raptors and as a part of the community if I see a way to help some guy stay out of trouble by bringing a perspective or "non technical" point of view to a particular mod then I think I should do it.
Like I said in my first post, just my .02 take it or leave it... It's like my favorite bar girl in Pattaya would tell me "up to you handsome man"...

From a technical standpoint the horn install CCaruso did looks prefessional...top notch!
Not a fan of scaring people for shits and giggles...however...as the Harley crowd is fond of saying "loud pipes save lives!" I have a D&D race pipe on my Buell. So loud it makes Harley riders cringe! But the dang thing has saved my life plenty o'times! So, who in the world would cut off or try to drive into a Raptor SCrew? Plenty of morons!! We've all seen it-the business guy reading the paper and drinking coffee while drivin AM rush hour, the woman doing her make-up and driving with her knees in rush hour, the person texting to high heaven and weaving all over the place, the Texan cruising down the road enjoying some beer and throwin empties out the window ( just kiddin! just kiddin!)...just my opinion or belief but there is a time and place for loud noises
