The Warranty actually has the Ford symbol on it?
Or it's the third party warranty that the dealer will work with.

You know most dealers have a third party warranty company for fleet trucks.

Alright I called my Ford service manager today to confirm the warranties, just incase something did change.
My dealer (former SVT dealer) installs and services both Whipple and Roush and a few others and he states absolutely no!!!

"Ford does not warranty the power train on a SC Raptor period......"

This is purely up to the dealer if they want to deal with the third party warranties.
And when you've done enough research you'll see that the are quite a few dealers that don't even want to get involved.

When I pick up my motor and trans from Ford Racing I'll ask them and see if we're all getting the same answer, lol, I was pretty sure it was always 3rd party as MTFrobin says.

Well apparently what I'm getting from this thread some dealers say yes and some no. can't really argue when some saying yes and some no.
Kind of makes a guy wonder doesn't it. Answers all over the map

I know if you order a roush raptor it comes with all the warranty in tact, so I'm assuming if you have a ford dealer install the roush it should be covered, but the whipple? I even called whipple a couple years back and they (whipple) offered a warranty but it wasn't through ford.

Ok. There is only one answer and a whole bunch misinformation in this thread and others!!!!

The Roush kit comes with a Supplemental Power Train warranty included for the 525fwhp
and then you need to buy the second warranty for the stage2 kit.
Both of these warranties are back up by Roush themselves. Not Ford!!!!!!
These are Supplemental Power Train Warranties!!! Since Ford's Power Train will be voided.

The Whipple Supplemental Power Train warranty comes from Cornerstone Warranties.
And does not come included you need to buy that at the time of install.
Again, this is a Supplemental Power Train Warranties!!! Since Ford's Power Train will be voided

If you have your SC installed by an authorized installer (either one)
then your whole Factory Warranty is not automatically voided, except the Power Train.

Again, Ford Motor Company Does Not warranty the power train on a Raptor with a Supercharger.
Nor does Ford back up any of these Supplemental Power Train Warranties.

Everything else is cover by Ford.

This is the way it's been since day one and nothing has changed.

Rbwill, I'm currently trying to decide between the Whipple and Roush. I'm in Northern California as well, Benicia, and would like to hear some feedback about how Fresno Whipple did with your install

Thanks
