Procharger said they would have a kit out soon and when I told them the Hennessy price they were shocked- you have to be loaded or stupid to pay for this kit- its just a bolt on from Procharger! They didn't even change the procharger stamped logos?

As previously mentioned within this thread, we do offer the standard ProCharger Supercharger kit and have them instock now. Hennessey Performance supplied the Raptor for the development and design of the kit. If you look at Procharger's website, the video and photos of the black Raptor are actually from our facility in Houston, TX (http://www.procharger.com/Ford_Raptor.shtml).

Members of the forum would like just the standard Procharger Kit for their Raptors based off this post and that is an item we are able to supply to forum members. We have these units sitting on the shelf and can have them shipped out immediately.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or feel free to email me directly at james@hennesseyperformance.com

Thank you for the responses. After reviewing the comments, we understand that some members may be interested in the parts only and not the Hennessey VelociRaptor575 complete package. We have the superchargers only instock as well and are able to offer them as an individual item, Procharger HO Intercooled Complete System, for $6,495 with Free Shipping. This would be a parts only purchase including Procharger's tune and will not include any of the Hennessey items that are standard with our VelociRaptor575. With any orders today, you may still be able to be supercharged by Monday!

Do not hesitate to give me a call directly at 713-650-5322 anytime.

Speak to you soon,
James
WTF? You send me a PM saying $7495 for that. There is no way I would do business with you after you pulled that BS

The extra charge was probably for getting their tune:SHOCKED::negrep:
They can keep the tune and supercharger.

Do a little homework and see what Viper owners think of them...

I was hoping they changed, but I see it's business as usual :i_rolleyes:

We are very sorry you feel this way and I will personally take responsibility for not PM'ing you back with the updated pricing that was released to us after your PM. We worked directly with Procharger on getting this kit built and pricing on PARTS only was not confirmed with them for what you are looking for at the time of your PM. Based off your PM, we were providing you a complete kit that did include the polished upgrade ($600) and our tune ($400) as Procharger had not released their tune and would be taking all responsibly on our end for the items we shipped you.

Working with Procharger, an official part number has been released and stocked by our company for the Procharger HO Intercooled System in Satin Finish. This is not a Hennessey Branded Package and is sold under Procharger Part number 1FS312-SCI.

Will there be a smaller pulley and tune offered from Hennessey for those who want even more power? Something like a 12psi pulley.
Hennessey Performance will be able to tune local members on the dyno with a smaller pulley if they would like. With any dyno tuning, you take risks when trying to take a package beyond what the research and development teams have tested. 12 psi is alot of boost when considering the compression ratio of the engine in this vehicle.

How much extra is the second stage that you guys offer for the raptor? What all is different about that setup vs the 575 one?
The difference in the VR575 and the VR600 package are the Stainless Steel Headers, High Flow Cats with Mid Pipes. Obviously we retune the vehicle as well for the headers.

What are your intended uses for the vehicle?
hey james, i ordered a 2011 6.2l and im interested in a couple of your products just wanted to get some extra power but dont want to get crazy and i had a few questions.
im looking at the velociraptor475 kit and wanted to know a price, if you have any certified installers in arizona, what exhaust system comes with the kit and what, if anything, is the dealer saying about the modifications in reference to warranty info. i know you make a quality product but dont want to take the chance of voiding my warranty.
i was also looking at your air induction and programmer kit. not as much performance as the velociraptor 475 kit but a good gain and might be safer for warranty idk. just looking for a little edge over the average raptor.
im new and any info or suggestions would be appreciated thanks for your time.

Thank you for the questions. Do not hesitate to give me a call or email directly at the shop as well (713-650-5322 or james@hennesseyperformance.com). Would like to touch on the Dealer information first in regards to warranty and possible problems from a dealer as this doesn't matter if you do just the intake or our complete VelociRaptor475. Will the modifications void your warranty is a very important question, it is best discussed with the service manager or service writer at the dealership where you purchased your vehicle, however the general answer is no. The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act states that the warranty on any vehicle may not be voided due to an aftermarket part unless it can be proved that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to failure in the vehicle. Many dealers are accustomed to supporting enthusiasts. When considering vehicle purchase or warranty claims, attempt to work with a performance oriented dealership that has the reputation of working with customers.

Feel free to give me a call about the details on the VelociRaptor475. The package does not include an exhaust system. Please find the list of included items below:

Power:
475 bhp @ 5,600 rpm
485 lb-ft torque @ 4,600 rpm

VelociRaptor 475 Upgrade Includes
• HPE Air Induction System
• Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers
• High Flow Catalytic Converters
• HPE Engine Mangement Calibration
with Handheld Programmer
• Chassis Dyno Tuning & Road Testing
• Serial Numbered Dash & Engine Plaques
• Hennessey & VelociRaptor Exterior Badging
• 1 Year / 12,000 Mile Limited Warranty

what is better to put in your truck a supercharger or a twin turbo
what type of SC are you thinking, fixed displacement (Whipple/KB) or centrifugal (Procharger/Vortech)? running the FD SC will give you instant boost/power. running a centrifugal is some what like a turbo, it needs to spool to get the power. Both run off a belt drive. If Procharger makes a cog belt system for the Raptor I would look at that kit frist.

Turbo's or TT's are more effienent then superchargers and will give you more power per pound of boost. the down side is they make alot of heat. heat is not good, pulls timing from the engine. Turbo's take time to spool, a TT system will spool faster.

so it depends what your use and power needs are. both FI system has its pros and cons.
